Health and Happiness Club

In my line of work as a singer/songwriter, I meet a lot of interesting creative characters, and Mauro, the photographer, is one of them. He is a passionate Italian living in New York, and recently with his girlfriend, Tonianne, and their Prius, he toured the United States and blogged about it!

The project grew from their own experiences as they tried to adapt to a more sustainable lifestyle in New York. During their transition, they encountered fragmented environmental standards and misleading nutritional claims on the many food, health and household products they used everyday. They realized that the will and discipline required to adapt to their new lifestyle in a truthful way needed to be much stronger and required a lot more research into product and food claims than they originally suspected. They began to wonder what small and large shifts toward sustainable living were being made by everyday Americans in the rest of the country, and if they too were having a hard time deciphering facts from fiction.

To stay true to their lifestyle,  Mauro and Tonianne challenged themselves to continue their sustainable practices while on the road.
